About the Role:

Based in Sydney, you will support the primary ERP system, Apparel21 to assist business users with application questions, system issues, problem solving, and support/training when new features are released after system upgrades. Additional responsibilities include configurations and testing of enhancements / new developments undertaken within Apparel21 test and production environments and where the system integrates with other applications.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Build extensive knowledge and understanding of the Core ERP system including product management, purchasing, inventory, POS solutions, and ecommerce integrations, from both functional and technical perspectives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of systems and applications for the IT team and business users.
  • Manage and onboard new suppliers to EDI platform.  
  • Assist users with day-to-day system queries, issues, and promote the development of improved process or system use.
  • Investigate problems with software applications, diagnose root causes, prioritise, and work individually or as a team to resolve issues.
  • Develop checks and tests for data integrity to ensure operational stability.
  • Work with users, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and key stakeholders to capture requirements for system enhancements and translate these into technical specifications.
  • Undertake end-to-end testing for system changes & enhancements, including development & execution of test plans & scripts, capturing issues and risks, and reporting on test status.
  • Communicate upgrades, releases, and enhancements to business users to ensure changes are adopted with no disruptions to the business.
  • Implementing systems, but also importantly support day to day, administration, and maintenance of already existing systems.
  • Understand relevant integrations to other systems and assist in supporting and maintain existing integrations between systems.
  • Strong Focus on Security across applications to maintain security posture.

 

To be successful you will ideally have the following:

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ Retail Business Applications related experience preferred.
  • Experience with building, maintaining, and supporting integrations between applications.
  • Strong ERP knowledge of retail required.
  • AP21 ERP experience beneficial.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / SQL skills preferred.
  • eCommerce Platform and relevant integration knowledge is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated capability to work across functional teams.
  • Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
