St Joseph’s, our 111 bed home,  has strong leadership under new Management, an engaged team who are keen to learn and grow in their roles. You would be joining a Supportive Regional team who are ALWAYS there to assist or offer guidance whenever needed.

Reporting to the Residential Manager you will be providing clinical leadership and support to the clinical and personal care teams.

About the Role:

  • Ensuring high-quality clinical care is provided to residents at all times, as per the Aged Care quality Standards and CHL policy and procedures
  • Providing leadership and coaching to the clinical and support teams to ensure the delivery of quality resident outcomes
  • Working in a safe manner, closely following all policies and procedures, including IPC, ensuring compliance with quality standards
  • Working as 1 of 2 Care Managers within a fully rostered care team

To be successful in this role you’ll need

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes
  • Comprehensive Clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age – related health issues
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of workplace health and safety
  • Previous experience working within a Residential Aged care setting in a similar role
  • Strong coaching/training skills and the ability to influence others
  • Strong customer centric approach to business
  • Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Competent IT skills including full Microsoft suite
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
