Senior Strategic Asset Manager

THE OPPORTUNITY

This newly created role will see you lead a small team to develop and coordinate the strategic asset management framework, analyze life cycle costs and provide recommendations of asset performance and/or improvement.

The role will be responsible for:

• Lead insights from the Asset Lifecycle Plans to support strategic planning and decisions.
• Manage, lead or support programs and projects that drive harmonisation and best practice operations.
• Develop plans to support initiatives, ensure stakeholders are engaged and provide regular updates, capable of senior leadership communication on a regular basis.
• Collaborate across business units to develop artefacts and ensure the artefacts are accepted by the business owners and appropriate sign-off is obtained.
• Monitor and track the outcomes of Asset Lifecycle Plans and continuously look for opportunities for improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will have/be:

• A Masters or Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience with proven results in their specialist area with the ability to translate this to a continuous improvement environment.
• Strategic thinker who can articulate complex problems into simple concepts and enjoy the various challenges that come with a fast-paced and evolving organisation.
• Strong communicator, both written and verbal, you enjoy collaborating with various stakeholders and taking people through change.
• Organised person with the ability to prioritise, delegate and remain calm under pressure.
• Commercial acumen to drive value through the business.
