The Opportunity: 

In this pivotal role, you’ll be one of the go-to experts for all things HR, ER and IR, offering comprehensive “end-to-end” advice and guidance to our business and key stakeholders. Partnering closely with the P&C Manager, you’ll ensure that HR policies and procedures are not only understood but seamlessly integrated into our Business Units. You’ll play a key role in implementing people strategies that drive success.

 

This is a fully remote position, which will involve occasional travel within the state and, at times, interstate.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Industrial/Employee Relations Management: Handle and support “end to end” HR case management.
  • HR Compliance: Guide managers and employees on applicable Legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements, HR policies, etc.
  • HR Partnership & Strategy: Collaborate on HR initiatives by driving policy implementation and projects, while reinforcing company culture and ensuring safety and well-being.
  • Leadership Coaching: Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on HR matters
  • Performance Management: Deliver on performance/disciplinary matters.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Build strong relationships and align HR solutions with business needs.

 

 

You will be required to demonstrate: 

  • Tertiary or postgraduate qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline - Essential
  • 6+ years of HR experience – Highly desirable
  • 4+ years of experience in a blue collar or service-based organisation
  • Project management experience in a high growth environment
  • Ability to professionally represent the HR function at a senior level both within the organisation and externally
  • Proven ability to work in accordance with compliance, legislative & regulatory requirement and maintains up to date knowledge of such.
  • Display proficiency at an advance level in the MS Office suite, along with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to other software platforms and programs.
