Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) ….

  • Oversee the daily operations and performance of the hotel including all departments and team members, ensuring smooth running and exemplary guest service
  • Preparing and reviewing budgets and forecasts, managing and chasing debtors, overseeing orders and conducting audits
  • Partnering with Sales, Revenue and Marketing, to build an annual business plan and actively monitor and revise it based on hotel performance

 

About You:

Experience:

  • Strong luxury / lifestyle / upper upscale hotel brand (international or boutique) exposure, with 5-10 years of hotel management experience with a minimum of 5 years at a General Management level in Brisbane, Melbourne or Sydney.
  • Strong Revenue experience in managing hotels that have maintained a No 2 or 3 in RGI in STR comp set.
  • Effective sales and marketing background leveraging Brand systems to optimise the performance of the hotel.
  • A flair and passion for F&B, with experience in the development and operation of concept venues / bars / restaurants.
  • An experienced hotelier and leader who can collaborate, engage, and influence with key stakeholders, and partners.
  • Proven experience in team development, luxury service delivery and operations, driving business development.
  • Elevated level of detail, flair, and charisma, with a keen eye for product and people presentation.
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills with a demonstrated ability to work to project deadlines and partner with key business stakeholders on important milestones and project activities.
  • Has an initiative based approach to problem solving, with full accountability and ownership of all hotel management and pre-opening activities within scope.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance luxury service outcomes, whilst achieving profitability and performance outcomes
  • High standards of attention to detail and strong communication (written & verbal)
  • Excellent grooming and personal presentation
  • Full permanent Working Rights in Australia

 

Certifications (currently hold):

  • Approved Managers Licence
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • “Provide First Aid” Certification (HLTAID0003 Provide First Aid or similar)
