The Opportunity

The key purpose of the Sales Operations team is to enable the Sales teams to achieve their sales and revenue performance objectives.

We currently have a great opportunity based in Victoria for a Sales Operations Analyst supporting our Federal Government, Defense & Special Projects team, you’ll partner with Sales management and the Sales community to drive and provide day-to-day operational, commercial and administrative support and efficiencies.

We’re looking for someone with a passion for driving change and improving employee and customer experience. Key to your success will be your deep execution capability to get things done.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day

  • Clean Order Entry processing and Validation
  • Commercial Validation and support through Pricing reviews
  • Raise and manage Purchase Orders
  • Management of the required controls for services over the RBBP
  • Third Party cost management
  • Contract Novation management
  • Revenue interlock – monitoring the sales cash cycle
  • General support as required by stakeholders
  • Close business partnering with Sales teams
  • Continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to operate in the following systems
  • Vocus Advances Services Systems
    • Order Manager
    • SPOC
    • Party Manager
  • Non-Advances Services System
    • Salesforce
  • Pronto
    • Saturn

 What you’ll bring to this role

  • Deep understanding of Federal Government contracts and customers
  • Strong business partnering capabilities
  • A passion for problem solving and supporting sales teams to achieve great outcomes
  • Strong understanding of business process and willingness to drive process improvement
  • Strong commercial and operational disciplines
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, relationship building skills and ability to influence outcomes across the organisation.
  • An advanced Excel user and Salesforce user (preferably an admin level)
  • Experienced in sales reporting and interpreting commercial data
  • Strong business and process knowledge
  • Ability to ensure consistency of standards/procedures and promote efficiencies
  • High attention to detail and appreciation of broader business context and direction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • People leadership experience
