As Communications and Engagement Consultant, you’ll work closely with the Head of Group Communications and Engagement, the People & Culture team, and key stakeholders across the business to plan and execute impactful campaigns and content that support Vocus’ strategy, drive key initiatives and effectively connect with Vocus employees.

This is a part time position - 4 days per week.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

  • Working closely with executive stakeholders across the business to develop and execute strategic communications plans and events that support Vocus’ strategy and drive key initiatives.
  • Building trusted relationships with the Executive Leadership Team, senior leaders and other key stakeholders across key business units to provide guidance, develop key messages, create content, and disseminate communications across a variety of channels.
  • Ensuring the success of day-to-day activity and governance of internal communication channels, including news, announcements, technical updates, calendars, newsletters, presentations and the intranet.
  • Leading and/or assisting to roll out People & Culture initiatives to the internal business, including developing materials and creative to support initiatives like goal setting, remuneration reviews, reward and recognition programs, and more.
  • Supporting Vocus brand and employee value proposition (EVP) awareness, adoption and management throughout the business at all levels.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
  • At least five years' communications experience with large corporates.
  • Strong copywriting skills for a range of business objectives and audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence and support senior leaders.
  • Experience managing People & Culture (HR) initiatives, change communications and working with complex messaging.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams, influencing others to move toward a common vision or goal.
