The Opportunity

Join us as a Reward and Systems Data Analyst and be part of our dynamic Vocus People and Culture team. You'll collaborate closely with our Reward & Systems Team and HR Business Partners, working from our Melbourne or Sydney offices with flexible work-from-home options. What you’ll be doing day-to-day

  • Extracting large data sets from HRIS (Dayforce), consolidate using strong data manipulation and excel skills to build a concise summary position for the wider rewards and system teams. 
  • ​Leverage strong excel skills to build automated models which can be easily updated on a weekly/ monthly basis to produce reports and dashboards. 
  • ​Analyse HR data to provide insight to drive business decisions, assist with cyclical processes and reporting. 
  • ​Running and maintaining weekly reports for the business.  
  • ​Assisting the Senior Systems Specialist with integrations and project work. 
  • ​Support delivery of cyclical processes such as salary survey completion, bonus payments, remuneration reviews and WGEA submissions.  
  • ​Review the current benchmarking methodology (Aon/Radford) and manage job classifications for all roles across Vocus including ownership of the job structure in our HRIS (Dayforce) 
  • ​Support the Vocus Benefits program including managing the benefits portal and mailbox and administering the benefits process for Vocus team members.  
  • ​Support processes such as the annual performance review, Award and other IR/Payroll audits. 
  • ​Support the day-to-day operations whilst also working on small projects to improve delivery efficiency. 
  • ​Assisting with administrative tasks.  
  • ​To support the overall delivery of the Vocus Reward Strategy.​ 

 

What you’ll bring to this role​​

  • Proficient in advanced Excel features.
  • Adaptable in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency.
  • Knowledgeable in key HR processes (recruitment, onboarding, payroll, L&D, performance, succession).
  • Basic understanding of HRIS design, information risk, and security; experience with remuneration reviews is a plus.
  • Familiar with benchmarking methodologies (Aon JobLink, Mercer IPE, Radford) is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to analyze data to support business decisions.
  • Dedicated to customer service and user experience.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good planning, organization, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective administrative and time management skills.
