As a Junior Business Development Manager at Vocus, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our business in Queensland. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and working closely with our sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand Vocus's market presence in Queensland. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their business objectives.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Collaborate with the sales team to create effective sales pitches and proposals.
  • Networking:Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote Vocus's services and generate leads. Establish a strong presence in the business community.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop campaigns and promotional activities that support business development efforts. Coordinate with technical and support teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends. Use data and insights to inform decision-making and strategy development.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of the telecommunications industry and Vocus’s product offerings.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the telecommunications or IT industry
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
